Sage Growth Capital Announces Additional Investments in Naked Sports Innovations & Native English Institute

Sage Growth Capital announces a second round of non-dilutive investments in Naked Sports Innovations and Native English Institute. It is Sage Growth Capital’s mission to provide a more flexible funding option to growing companies that want to include non-dilutive funding in their capital strategy. 

 

Naked Sports Innovations

Fund II has made an additional investment in Naked Sports Innovations. Washington-based, Naked Sports, is building a global lifestyle brand with diversified products for the fast-growing endurance running/outdoors market. Naked has developed a diverse range of revolutionary products that are sold in more than 75 countries to world champions and weekend warriors in trail, triathlon, and road running. Sage Growth Capital Fund II made its first investment in Naked Sports in April 2022. 

 

The company will use the additional funds to support their digital marketing, product development,  and working capital as they launch a new triathlon shoe.

Native English Institute

Fund I portfolio company, Native English Institute has joined the Fund II portfolio after receiving an additional investment from Sage Growth Capital. NEI received an investment from Fund I in March 2022. NEI was founded in Seattle and now has significant operations in Asia. The company transforms language learning through a data-driven artificial intelligence and natural language processing solution.
